White Tail Farm was established in 1981. After 27 years raising a variety of livestock (hogs, sheep and cattle) plus a variety of crops (including tobacco), we purchased our first miniature horses in 2007. Our children showed cattle in 4H until their teens and we owned and showed big horses. So 3rd generation farmers, we were certainly no stranger to hard work, long hours, or owning up to the responsiblities of caring for livestock - always in large numbers. We found the miniature horse more suitable (and enjoyable) for our small grandchildren to be involved with on a daily basis. We currently have 56 AMHA/AMHR horses in our breeding program and breed for the refined Arabian look, although confirmation and temperament are just as important and naturally our top priority. We are home to THREE Buckeroo son and TWO Buckeroo daughters among many other well known champion bloodlines that all compliment our Buckeroo breeding program. We are home to Little Kings Electro Buck - a 30 inch buckskin son of the famous Boones Little Buckeroo. You can read all about Electro on our Stallion Page. We are home to Little Kings Buckeroo Merlin - a 29 inch solid black son of Buckeroo, also on our stallion page.
Then we have Little Kings Buck Outta Cyte - a 33 inch Palomino son of buckeroo.
We are also home to a son of First Knights Billy Idol as well as a Palomino son of BTU. These boys compliment our mares in our breeding program.
We had a very successful 2009 foal season with 5 fillies and 4 colts - most of which are double Buckeroo and blue eyes!!
